The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has revised withdrawal charges which is effective from 1st May 2025. After concluding the free monthly limit, customers will have to pay Rs 23 per Transaction at ATM.

What are ATM Withdrawal Charges?
ATM Withdrawal charges refer to fees levy by bank when customer use ATM beyond a specified number of Transaction in a month. These charges apply to cash withdrawals, balance Enquire and other ATMs.
Why RBI Increased ATM Charges?
The Reserve Bank of India RBI has allowed bank to increase ATM charges to cover rising cost such as maintaining ATMs, upgrading security system, managing operations have become more expensive over time.
Higher ATM charges are expected to support banks in maintaining ATM network and providing safer service to the customers.
Impact of ATM Withdrawal charges on Pocket of Customer
